I think you can't fold QQ at this board. BB is short stack, he cold calls 3 bet (he hasn't call20 odds) in a multiway pot and is playing a lot of hands. You are beaten by 44,77,99,AA,KK. Hands he would call pre and push with that board as a semi-bluff are AdTd, AdJd, AdKd, KdJd and TT-JJ for value. You need 31% equity regarding to the pot:

I worked out that on equilab:

Mesa: 4♥7♦9♦
       Equity   Ganar  Empate
MP2    49.35%  48.21%   1.14% { 77+, AdKd, AdJd, KdJd, AdTd, JdTd, Td9d, 9d8d, 8d7d }
MP3    50.65%  49.51%   1.14% { QdQs }

I'd have called.

No fold vs short stack, 50/0 looks pasive, but there is nothing you can do.

Hand sample is small and we cannot say whether he is passive or active.
So we can call vs the shortstack.

Against most likely a fish I would stack off the flop for sure. It’s even possible he’s overplaying top pair combo’s as well. If you are up against better it’s unlucky I think.

Yeah agreed. Any bigger of a stack and I'd consider folding but you just happened to run into the top of his range, so you played this fine.
