88 preflop here isn't a 3bet. Just call and set mine.

As played, you could bet the flop small to protect from AK / KQ and stop him bluffing you out on the turn.
A check isn't too bad but I think betting has more merit.

OTR you should never fold here.

In a blind vs blind situation, I think 88 is a 3bet preflop. I also think that you should not cbet 88 on that flop. You're going to get called by any Ten, any Jack, any straight draws, and any flush draws. I don't think you'll get called by most worse and you are going to get floated quite a lot on that texture. Maybe I'm too nitty, but I'm just giving up after that flop unless I spike an 8 on the Turn.

On the Turn that you get, absolutely bet it. I think you played it perfect...you could probably even bet a little more because you'll get value from Jx, Tx, as well as all the drawing hands.

On the River, bet bigger to get max value from the flushes that got there. And definitely never fold to any raise there.

If I 3bet pre-flop in position a 3bet of 40c in total is big enough I think against a regular looking player. As played I would most likely Cbet to protect my hands against draws and the rest of the hand seems standard.
