Hello,

that's a situation I encounter million times.

I open with a medium or low pocket pair and someone 3-bets me and I have no clue what to do.
I have only a weak pp, I don't want to fold but I know that unless I flop a set, I am very often in bad shape on the flop.

So can you please help me out ?!

Best regards
Dominik

Raising is fine, but I don’t think you can do much else then folding on his 3bet. He will only do this with better pairs and maybe AQ+ or so. That means you win only if you hit a set on the flop and you aren’t playing deep enough to make a call profitable and you will get better spots for sure.

Cheers,
