BTN: 100 BB (VPIP: 53.65, PFR: 16.42, 3Bet Preflop: 5.42, Hands: 14,231)
SB: 73 BB (VPIP: 51.71, PFR: 13.96, 3Bet Preflop: 4.79, Hands: 14,628)
BB: 374.75 BB (VPIP: 49.36, PFR: 14.77, 3Bet Preflop: 5.16, Hands: 13,525)
UTG: 203 BB (VPIP: 51.87, PFR: 14.86, 3Bet Preflop: 5.76, Hands: 13,263)
Hero (MP): 119.25 BB
CO: 8.75 BB (VPIP: 50.91, PFR: 14.60, 3Bet Preflop: 5.83, Hands: 14,081)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 8♣ A♥ J♦ A♠

UTG calls 1 BB, Hero raises to 4.5 BB, CO raises to 8.75 BB and is all-in, BTN calls 8.75 BB, fold, BB calls 7.75 BB, UTG calls 7.75 BB, Hero?

Wtf should I do in this spots ... well this one is pretty easy I assume since villain doesn't 3b pot so we only need to call a small amount and our AA are rainbow and we're closing the action so basically we're just calling to cheaply see a set. BUT what if villain pot 3bets and we have like AA72ss? I'm not sure about my thoughts on 4betting allin 5way since we'll lose unless we hit a set or nut flush or so which will happen like 18% of the time so 5way we only need like 18% so it's breakeven while being 4way already fuckes us up since we need like 20% to breakeven and not sure if we have them. On the other hand just calling a pot sized 3b and only continueing 18% of the time seems weird as well but I assume yelds similar value. So unless we have really shitty AA like AA72r should we be jamming it in here w/o thinking always and expect to be breakeven and have insanely big variance?

Easy jam with any AA when youre not especially deep with anyone. AAJ8r isnt even the worst aces, neither would be AA72ss.

The thing is, that when you jam, ppl can still find folds with their trashy random hands and fold flops, it's not quaranteed that this will be 4way all-in.

No one probably has aces, so you have the best hand and should pot-raise hoping to get some folds and pick up their dead money.

Never ever ever never ever just call pre. And did I mention never ever to just call? :f_love:

If you call, the SPR would be 1 on the flop. Now what kind of flops you are going to check-fold? What kind of flops you are going to shove? I am quite sure that you are going to make a lot of bad decisions on the flop as you are lost about 85% of flops when you don't hit set or something really strong.

Just get it in preflop and embrace the variance. You are never a huge favorite against their ranges, but it's +EV. And every time you have 100% sure +EV decision possible at poker, you should be quite happy about it.

Maybe newbie, but last time I checked this forum was open to all regardless of experience of stakes. You learned something, so it was definitely worth posting! Well played! :f_drink::f_love:
