Hero (BTN): 27,951

6 players post ante of 75, SB posts SB 400, BB posts BB 800

Pre Flop: (pot: 1,650) Hero has A♣ K♦

UTG raises to 3,250, fold, fold, Hero calls 3,250, fold, fold

Flop: (8,150, 2 players) 9♥ 5♣ T♣
UTG bets 8,000, fold,

I didn't 3bet here for 2 reasons, villian is kind of all over the place and impossible to read and secondly I had seen him make that same 4xish open w/ AQ & KK before. I figure calling was a fair play pre.

OTF he cbet pot and the bet came rather quickly. Which felt like a big Ace (AK-AJ) or possiblely a single pair. With that said, I thought called a 3rd of my chips was a waste and shoving would get called a lot of the time.

His pre-flop sizing is indeed big and if you have reads he’s doing this with only big hands I think your line is fine, but in normal circumstances I would always shove a hand like AKo here.
