What are the fundamental differences between Elephant/PokerTracker & Holdem Manager?
Is there a pro/con list available for them?

Elephant is free but it doesnt provide as much indepth than the other pay programs... other than that I personally liked PT but its all about preference they both offer free trials so I suggest that you take advantage of them and see which you prefer. That is unless you wish to use the FREE elephant.
