Hero, seen as very tight and beginner (don't know how to cut chips, etc.), about 70BB
Villain, probably a good regular with a huge stack

I raise to $15 from EP with AsKc and get one caller on the button.
say Pot is $30

Flop comes Kd4c8d and I bet $15. Villain calls. Pot is $60.

Turn is 4s. I bet $30 and get called. Pot is $120.

River is 9h. I check and villain bets $50.

Should I have bet the turn at all? and should I call the river? How good pot odds do I need to call the river?

Why do you play with such short stack?

Hi longspring and welcome to PokerStrategy.com :welcome:

You should take a moment or two to Introduce yourself! to us properly.

To answer your question, whether you are BS or SS, we should bet turn here since we have high-value hand and hit a pair with our kicker. River is a call since you could be up against KJ+ but also drawing into AK. Make a note if called.

Cheers,

Hesticus

TPTK you can bet 3 streets. If you x river, you can call.

It looks like an NL500 live game. I would also bet for 3 streets of value with top pair as cash game fish. As played I would call his small bet for sure.

Cheers,
