Very first hand of the game. Vilain limps, I see him very weak and decide to 3bet small. I don't want to shove right away to steal 1blind, since I see him weak, I try to make him call at least once. After that check flop, I go in auto mode and bet for value and call his check raise turn without any kind of hesitation.

BTN: 25 BB
SB: 25 BB
Hero (BB): 25 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has K♣ K♦

fold, SB calls 0.5 BB, Hero raises to 3 BB, SB calls 2 BB

Flop: (6 BB, 2 players) 6♣ 9♠ 4♦
SB checks, Hero bets 3 BB, SB calls 3 BB

Turn: (12 BB, 2 players) 7♦
SB checks, Hero bets 8.5 BB, SB raises to 19 BB and is all-in, Hero calls 10.5 BB and is all-in

River: (50 BB, 2 players) 3♣

SB shows 6♥ 9♥ (Two Pair, Nines and Sixes)

Hero shows K♣ K♦ (One Pair, Kings)

SB wins 50 BB

Reviewing the hand now, I could have been alarmed by the limp/call check/call which could represent extreme strength. Idk why but lately and especially since I went up from 0.25$ spins to 1$ I get trapped a lot. Anyway, even if we don't think our opponent is trapping with AA because you don't have AA that often and he would probably limp/shove preflop, he could still totally call a gutshot draw with 35 or 58. I guess a limp call pre with those hands is very bad, I wouldn't call those even suited. Anyway, he had 69s which seems as weak as 35 or 58 in my opinion.

This seems like a standard hand with AA. I would most likely bet the turn a little bit smaller. Half pot is big enough and then I would still call to a shove against an unknown. I don’t think there are too many better hands that would limp except sets. He could even have top pair in a spot like this I think, but now you are committed anyway with the big bet on the turn.

Yeah obviously it would have been a better move in this case. On the first hand, maybe someone can level himself into thinking you are a maniac but I don't think people will limp / call all in that often to be very profitable. I'd shove smaller pairs without hesitation

Raising the normal way is I think more profitable on the long run pre-flop against a player that is limping in the SB. Especially with the position advantage he could make a lot of mistakes.
