Villain(s): MP = seems like a reg 3b 5.9% (2/34) assumed he was 3b'ing QQ+, Ako here only

Pre: 4b/call? Once I get the overcalls I would expect CO and BB to be capped at QQ and AK since KK+ almost always 4b here I think. I am acutally behind vs MP's 3b'ing range here and my default is to play QQ as a set mine, however given that there is more ded money to make up for the equity disadvantage would you lean more twoards 4b/broke here?

Flop: Considered x/raising however I was worried about the flop being checked through so decided to c-bet big since pot was multiway and due to the board texture being draw heavy. After MP folds to the c-bet I think I put him on too tight a range preflop. Once CO and BB just call I don't think that have made hands since I would expect sets and made straights to raise get it in unless they have AcKc/Kc9c/AcTc.

Turn: Given the above I think villains most likely have some sort of combo draw type hand, therefore decided to bomb the Turn in case they miss the river and I risk leaving money on the table. I think checking with the intention of x/raising would mostly result in a check behind by CO.

I do not like the call preflop when mw. Most of the time you won't know what to do postflop.

Flop, mw, you should lead. Board is wet and you do not want it to be checked down.
Since CO called the 3b preflop he can have a set, 2P or draw, so betting with your top set is obvious.

This seems like a good spot to 4bet and get it in pre-flop with QQ against a small 3 bet and 2 other players that has called on this 3bet. I expect you will lose value with calling and you will get in awkward post-flop situations as well.

Cheers,

Agree about preflop.

Postflop: You are in excellent shape, even against 3*AK:f_biggrin:. Don't even think about checking or fearing the nuts. There are plenty of non-nuts out there too.

What if he had AK instead? Would you also 4b and shove preflop in that situation?

I agree with 4betting preflop, but don't think that calling is a big mistake. If we 4bet, I don't expect to be far ahead vs 5bet or calling ranges in this situation.

We should 4bet here indeed. As played, when mw, we should bet smaller on flop and turn to lure weaker hands.

Yeah, just 4bet pre. Lots of dead money.
