Hi prim! First I would appreciate if you convert this hand so it looks abit tidy - http://www.handconverter.com/

You get around 3:1, because CO will never fold behind you, when hes getting 7:1. So you need 25%. If you are sure that you are drawing to the boat you dont really get enough, because chances are they have some of the board-pair also. So with the way you played the hand, you can safely get away from it on the turn. And my guess is this is a SnG and not MTT so chip preservation is more important than having a small edge against their ranges (which I honestly think you dont have).

The thing I can change about the hand is the CBet. I dont mind the bet, but I prefer checking in spots like these in multiway pots. Whats good about it is that if the CO bets we get info about the UTG's hand. Against a bet and a raise we can easily fold. Against a bet and a call we get good odds. Against a bet and a fold, we have a shit-ton of options - raising, calling... And if he checks back we really dont mind when we have a good draw. Protection (thin value betting) is not as important in STTs, where stack preservation is alot more important.

Anyways, thats alot of lines written about a hand that is not played bad at all. :f_thumbsup:

Thank you, NSavov! I tried to convert the hand with FlopTurnRiver and the hand converter, it didn´t work so I did something wrong (don´t know what).

I did the c bet in order to protect my hand against draws.

Gutshots have 2 outs (unless its 34 - then its 4 outs),
you block alot of open enders and you have an open ender yourself
and flushdraws have a massive equity, so you are really not protecting against anything except overcards.

Its just that the equity you get from the times they fold isnt that big to compensate for the times you will have to fold in a bloated pot. And the equity of the hands that continue are good so you dont really get much EV.

If they play vs your bet aggressively with a range of top pair, (over)pair+draw, set, 2 pair and all flush draws, you will be in a bad spot and will have to fold some equity.

When you bet you open the action back to UTG, who can very well be crushing you and that is also not a good thing.

I prefer keeping the pot small. That way we can call alot of turns with our draw and sd value. If we build a pot and get bombed on a blank turn we have to muck it. If Im not sure whether Im bluffing or value betting I tend to check, but thats me - a passive fish :f_cool:

I would fold.
You basically have 10 outs so you need around 20% pot odds to call here, as i can't imagine you win here expect hitting your full house on River.
UTG+1 could easily have a str8 here and thought he can check and let the train of players open the action for him. In addition UTG+1 is total passive nit 11/2 and you expect from them to put money only with monsters. While CO seems reckless, UTG+1 may know this and he checked on purpose.
The real problem is that even after your show of strength preflop / post-flop, the pot is still multi-way. Add to that the furious attack of both your opponent on Turn., one of which is pretty nitty and the board is pretty, pretty wet.
The action basically it asks of you to play for all of your chips with around 20% equity here.
Nothing you can do here, CO destroyed your plan to keep the pot small, which was difficult anyway beause of your position.

I would always raise 3bb+1bb per limper in the first levels of a SNG. This way you have less change you will end up multiway. As played you have 6 outs clean outs for a straight and the change you will get 2 players to fold is slim and I would check as well. As played you can only win if you hit the full house on the river and I would fold this as well against 2 players.

Cheers,
