Hi all,
I'm playing according to the book (SSS), just like it's nicely taught here on PS, but I keep losing to clowns, in other words, to people who call my raises with trash hands, keep calling till the river with lowest pairs, and etc...
This happens at Party Poker...
It caused a considerable downswing to my BR, and it's tough to win it back...
What can be done? Any advice?

1) post hands in the sample forum
2) play at least 10k hands and than talk about downswing
3) I see you're girl, so send me a photo and I'll ask poker God to see what we can do 
1) What's the point of showing bad beats? I'm pretty positive that I play right according to what I've learned here.
2) I had 50$, now I have 15$... that's a downswing to me... my experience is more than 10k hands.

It may not be a downswing, it may just be bad play! Read articles, visit coachings, watch video's, and post your hands!! The only way to build a roll is to never stop learning.

Man I had this problem too! I was thinking, how can I be loosing when I'm getting called by trash all the time? We want to be called by trash, right? I watched SSS coachings and realized I wasn't playing properly, I was calling all in sometimes when I shouldn't be and betting too much on the flop with trash, so not giving myself an out if I was reraised (you got to fold sometimes).
I've started playing properly, brushing off suckouts quickly and realoading straight away instead of leaving the table all pissed. I think, please call me with trash again, and they do! ♦ at least then you break even on that table before you leave.
I've had a very small upswing since and have had my share of suckouts and am nearly back to the $50 I started with, which is a good thing for me cos I'm clearing a bonus, so it's all profit. If I continue like this it's looking good!
Stick with it and make sure you are playing 100% correct!
I just had a FH, 5's over 7's, but some clown called my 2$ bet with nothing on turn Q/10, and got rivered a queen.

Hi,
We do have article on psychology, which will tell you how to cope better. I highly doubt you are loosing just because of bad beats. In fact i'm 99.9% sure you are making mistakes as a new SSS player. The only way to have a good win rate with SSS is to consistantly play the best you can. So you need to be clear on what to do in all situations.

lady luck is a bitch indeed but there are things you CAN and CANNOT influence, you can not change your luck, but you can improve the odds by learing the articles deeper.
If you loose your roll, dont worry there are other ways how to get new bankroll ( ;))
