How do you play such turns? We block top pairs that villain can have so that makes the 9c a pretty bad card. But villain could have some QTJx hand as well. So do we x/b turn and see what river card/action is? Or close eyes and shove and hope he didn't turn trips?

Thanks

I have no idea.
I would play it like you did, but I am interested in others opinion :f_thumbsup:

So little behind just close your eyes and shove :) Deeper you can think alternatives like bet-folding, check-backing.

He can certainly have a worse K even when you have one, QJT or backdoor FD.

Thanks both. My instinct was sound then.

I think If you repot it OOP and others call, you are going to have a pretty awkward spr and it is going to be tough to play postflop.
As played I would probably bet the flop smaller and check behind the turn.

By the way I don't understand why SB calls the pot sized bet on the flop with middle pair .. is it correct to do so?

^^
He's only paying for one street, though, right? I mean, if he called the bet and I agreed in advance to check the turn then the call would be ok. Otherwise he's just lighting money on fire.
