villain is from Greece and completely unknown.

i played this table hu for a while before the table filled up a little bit. here we are 8 handed.

usually QQ in bb vs utg raise in a 10 handed game is really player dependent. but vs unknown 8handed it should be a clear squeeze/call situation. my squeeze is a little bit too small, i know; i thought it could induce something. he called pre and i put him basically on any pocket, sometimes AK, maybe AQs. he called my cbet quite fast and then insta pushed the turn once i checked. i thought one moment that his insta shove is a nice levelling and he really somehow has an A. but then, after re thinking the hand, he couldnt have a hand here. but if he was to turn is hand (lower pocket ?!) into a bluff, does he insta ship the turn here? does he ever have a 7?

since i couldnt figure out any hand that beats me and since i never met a good player from greece, i called.
easy turn call or can a bad unknown have an A here?

As you said: the squeeze is too small. Your cbet is too small imo, either bet bigger, or ( what I like the most) play c/r.

As played I tend to shove the turn myself tbh. alternative: c/f because he should check most hands behind he might have there. His shoving range is very polarized towards A/7 or air.

my line: bigger squeeze and c/r flop.

i dont cbet bigger in any hu pot, often i cbet even smaller with air and also for value. protection is not an issue. vs unknown c/r might be best, but in general i cant just c/r in 3bet pot with QQ and cbet all the air. he is not a reg and balancing might not be an issue as well. but all the other regs on the table will see that hand.

turn c/f would be an option, but then i often fold the best hand.

i never thought about a turn shove by myself. i think i just isolate myself vs better hands and there is not really a lot to protect against. also i want to give him a chance to hang himself.

when playing (and still now) i thought the max-value line is a c/c vs his range that includes a lot of stupid stuff, but im not sure how often an unknown really has a random 7 here or an A that didnt fold on the flop. and if he has a 7, does he insta shove?

I don't know if he would insta shove...noone can tell. He can have an ace, A high fd for example.

Sure you can c/r, you can c/r here with draws as well and in the right spot with just overs. Sure, you won't do it as a bluff vs 2, but as you said, balancing doesn't matter right here.

And again, I do cbet bigger, you are up against 2, you already kept more hands in by your small 3bet, it's a drawy board.

I would bet on AK/AQ/AJ/AT, rather then 7) simply because there are way more meaningful combos, then of 7x. plus insta shove could be just a chain reaction

well, basically, i see 2.5 scenarios)

1) he peeled the flop with Ax. which might be fine for unknown player from Greece)
2) he decides to turn his med. pp into a bluff on the turn) doesnt fit well with insta shove though
0.5) he slowplays 7x

Ax scenario seems the most reasonable to me)

what did he have?

thnx for the answers, im still not 100% sure about this spot, but i guess vs unknown from Greece i like my line.

Interesting hand
If you shove turn, he would fold all other hands, if you check he might shove with worse hands.
I think c/c since he should have fold equity if he shoves float or he could easily shove there any pp or draw.
