It depends on the villain, but there aren’t too many hands he would fold I think. He has I think a lot of mid pairs in his range and then you let him fold only A high.

What if villain checks back would we bet the turn? Or just give up?

I think giving up would probably be the best plan, id still expect 88-QQ to check back, most of the time.

What sort of things does it depend on? im really strugglying in these spots.

Do you have a reason for minraising from the UTG in the hand or is it your standard size? I'm not sure which open size is the best in general, or is it even that important, but I like to openraise at least 2,5x from all positions except BTN. As played, I think we can have AKo with Ad in our cbetting range in this situation from time to time (the size should be around 1/3), but check/folding is fine. I believe we can check/call sometimes, but vs a smaller bet (1/3). We can then check/fold Turn and River unimproved, hoping to win some showdowns if it goes check-check, or we can check/call or bet small at some point if we hit TP.

I agree with alleen. Imo there are many decent lines. I would most likely check/fold or check/call sometimes but cbetting with Ad might not be bad either.

I raise 3bb from EP and 2.5bb from CO, BTN and SB (in which this one depends on villain). As played, I would call 1 street. We can't raise since we isolate ourselves vs strong hands and with an A or K OTT we can't do much when villain keeps betting.

I'd consider check-fold best, bet-fold second best and check-call horrible. I'll have some combos better suited for a bluff. This flop is also a flop that doesn't invite to bluffing. The flop missed us and villain knows it. The one entitled to float here is villain, because he is in position.
