Flop: ($2.65) 2♥: J♠: A♣: (3 players)

Turn: ($5.15) 8♣: (2 players)

River: ($15.01) T♣: (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $14.37, UTG folds

Spoiler

$15.01 pot ($0.64 rake)
Final Board: 2♥: J♠: A♣: 8♣: T♣:
UTG mucked and lost (-$7.03 net)
Hero mucked K♣: J♣: K♠: 6♥: and won $14.37 ($7.34 net)

Villain unknown.

Flat pre vs utg ok? Can justify calling the flop bet (assume trivial fold vs pot bet?)? Turn sucks. We draw to nuts but face a big bet. Is it reasonable to discount our 2 kings given opponent reps AA? Are there any rivers we could bluff at if villain checks? Q or T, for example?

Thanks

I think until the turn it’s a standard hand I think, but if we call this turn we can most likely only win if we hit and with his almost pot size bet we don’t get the odds to hit our draw. I don’t think bluffing will work to often against an unknown on the river.

Preflop call vs UTG fine I think.

Flop I guess I would just fold, even when he bets small. There's third player behind and you dont have much.

Turn when he pots I would fold again, we dont get odds against any ace and certainly not against set or 2prs, +he can fold if you hit your flush denying implieds. I think bluffing with your KK blockers comes mandatory if you call, but I too dont think it will work often enough making this call profitable.

On the turn we are going to hit the nuts about 1/4 times, so we need around $5 as implied odds to justify the call. Question is if the opponent is going to give it or not. Now as turn was called, no reason to pot it. Bet 9,75 and try to get the call from his set.
