AQ vs FISH

I think AQo is a squeeze from BTN in a mw pot. We don't want more people in the pot and now you hit trips, we can't comfortably raise at any time. As played, I would call river as well.

Seeing spoiler: Bummer, a set is something we can't do too much but try to isolate. If he raises you all in on flop in that situation, you know villain has you beat.

Isolating the CO pre-flop seems like a top notch idea

As my thinking is starting to change: Right - If AQo isn't a raise from the BTN in that situation, what % of hands are? It's def a 3b situation.

I like both options, squeeze and call along. I guess we could use reads to adjust the frequencies.

It is tough to fold trips, uh? When I get action with trips I always know I am screwed.

I think you could bet the flop and turn also bigger for value against a fish that most likely will call a 2/3 or even ¾ pot as well. His min/raise on the turn is suspicious, but it’s indeed tough to fold trips against a fish.

preflop: I would prefer the squeeze against fishes and the call against TAGs and rocks. Against fishes, you are way ahead and want to collect the money now.

flop: PFA does not contibet. He missed, or it’s a trap. Flop is a bit drawy, but the straight draw is mostly irrelevant. Against one opponent, you could check behind, but against two, you have to protect. Your bet is too small. First caller gets 3:1 and has an easy call with a flush draw. 2/3 pot at least, against two opponents you can bet 3/3 or pot.
turn: Again, your bet is too small. Villain raises too small, too. As a fish, he can do this with every queen (AQ, KQ, QJ, perhaps QTs, Q9s) and Overpairs (since you did not squeeze, KK+ are possible). And of course he can hold a full. Or trying a bluff with a flush draw. Even without the flush draw, you have 70% Equity. If you would not have posted the results, everyone would have told you to push.
