So! I thought that I start with this discussion first.
I have played over 500.000 zoom hand this year. One thing that I noticed is the pool tendencies is not balanced when they bet pot or Close to pot. IT IS NEVER A BLUFF!
The player pool play so strightfarward that you could exploit thier betsizing. Specielly if you are playing vs a reg. Thier potbets/Close to pot bet is a valuebet.. and specielly if the spr is high!
I will try to share somehands where villians pot it on the river, where we maybe could find a fold ( but we didnt find a fold of course xD).

exempel one:

We maybe should be more aware of betsizing and stop paying them off with a bluffcatcher... :)

Perhaps you are right as played... BUT
I think you have a clear semi-bluff OTT and barrel river on hand 1. Hand 2 looks fine to me.

Im not surprised you are beat in hand 2 but hand 1 is a total mindfuck. The only boat that beats you in my eyes is QQxx. :wtf:

Have you really played half a million hands on PLO5? Why no move up? :gl:

I have a lot of hands from PLO5z where river pot bet was a bluff. I think one shouldn't make big conclusions about the sizing, because the situation matters. Most often that pot bet bluff was situation where opponent had a missed draw (most likely a flush draw) and hero checked turn and/or river.

by 500k hands, I meant on the Micros. not only PLO5, I have played all zoom levels to be honest, But I have a very bad bankroll managment.. Thats why i got broke a lot of times, and restart from the Micros again.

I agree with you.. situation where ppl bluff on PLO5 are when they have a draw, a scary card come on the turn and you checkbehind with you over overpair+ they usually attack the river when they miss thier draw. Now I am not saying that it is good to checkbehind to induce bluffs with bare overpairs. but maybe if we held some blockers... good to induce bluffs.

It looks like there was already a lot of discussion, but moved your hands to our hand discussion board. There fits it better.

Cheers,

In general, the longer it takes time to make the bet, the less likely it is a bluff.

In that hand if hero had bet the turn and villain called, then his river bet after a check would most likely be often enough a bluff. But in that hand when hero raises turn and his hand is face up, and there is only 1/3 pot left on the river, that is rarely a bluff.

That's why it's dangerous to categorize thing like "river bet is never a bluff" as there is a huge difference in this hand how you get to the river.
