My play seems quite weak to me. Unsure where to improve it - jam turn and hope to get called by AA with nfd?

Thanks

I you shove the turn he is going to fold more often than the times when you see an A on the river. So you might make him fold weaker hands that still bet on good rivers for you. I think you played it as good as it is possible. That's just a bad river card.

I think shove/fold with our 2prs, gutter weak FD.

There is gonna be many bad rivers like A, K, Q, (T), 9, 8, hearts.. You've what 8 bucks behind, I dont see merit in calling and playing river awkward SPR when we actually have a made hand to go with draws if you decide to continue against turn bet.

Certainly not my favorite spot here, but I think we have enough going on with our hand to stack off against very aggressive opponent. T9 doesnt seem likely, he could've some better made hands like QJ but also many draws, like KT and FD's (with or witouth aces) out there.

Shove turn. As said you will have only 8 bucks behind for the river, so I can't see what we could achieve by just calling. And we are definitely in a good shape versus his range.

I was wondering about that. Are we really in good shape vs a range that double barrels pot on this particular card?

After the call you would have to pay 8 into pot of over 50 on the river, so what rivers are you happy to fold and be sure he isn't bluffing?

Thing is that whatever he has, you have good equity. And actually quite often you have the best equity. He can have hand like AA+fd, AKQT, AKJ+fd etc that you are ahead of.
