Preflop: Hero is UTG with 3♥: J♣: J♥: T♣:
Hero raises to $0.85, 2 folds, BTN raises to $2.90, 2 folds, Hero calls $2.05

Flop: ($6.15) K♥: A♥: 7♣: (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $3.25, Hero calls $3.25

Hero bets $7.50, BTN raises to $15.57 and is all-in, Hero calls $8.07

Is it reasonable to find a x/c vs this flop sizing?
As played, how much should we lead for on the turn?

Thx

How much of equity do you have on the flop and how much do you need if he bets 1/2 of pot? Turn bet 10$

not a word about this turn lead? i find it horrible. why not let villain turn his hand into a bluff. imagine hes gonna fold ak here 100% of the time. imagine he has qh, why not let him bluff u of the hand with a blocker. he might check back a lot of hands but i only see him broking to ur turn lead if hes an idiot. he looks a little fishy considering hes not full stacked but leading cant be the best play here. if u want to lead here at least make it like $3-4 so he has room to bluff. u commit urself 100% with that bet and even fish can small that. i like c/c turn and lead river a lot more than leading turn.

What you say makes sense. However, assume villain has value here (which is reasonable considering he 3b pre BU vs UTG and the board is great for his value range). Won't he simply play perfectly on this turn card (if we check), checking back to see if he can boat up, before investing any more money in the pot?

sorry but with ur comitting bet u allow him to play perfectly here. what else besides flushes do u donk here with that size? every somewhat reasonable player will realise that u basically never bluff here. so he will be able to play perfectly by just folding. while when u check u cud still be drawing to perhaps a straight (so u got basically air currently) or u can have the goods. im open for other opinions for sure but the play with ur size can never be good. like i said a smallish donk can be very beneficial. its to easy to adapt to your play when u basically play honestly all the time. it probably works on the lower stakes but good regs will adapt at some point and in case u dont balance it u will be abused without knowing it.

Kyyberi, can you weigh in? Someone says lead turn $10. Someone else says don't lead, or ... lead $3-4. If we lead $4 then it seems to me that any set can just call and play perfectly otr - that doesn't seem great to me either.

i just said my main line here is check, just in case u want to have a donk range u gotta balance it and with a comitting bet theres no chance it can ever be balanced. therefore u either have to go smaller so villain can have bluffs that shove as well. otherwise a donk bet makes no sense at all.

if we want to donk this hand, we need to balance it with some semibluffs. Thing is that we don't have a lot of those hands in our range. When we call the flop we mostly have a made hand and/or a flush draw. The only hand that doesn't fit either is QJTx.

If the board was KQ7 I think donking is one option, just need to do it also with wraps etc.

When we check, there is also a problem that it's easy for our opponent to play. Either one is fine, as long as that range is somewhat balanced. If we bet high flushes and check everything else, we force our opponent to play pretty well against us.

We aren't often getting 2 streets of value for our flush. Once we check, we give sets/2pairs a free river but that's something we have to deal with when playing oop. If he checks back and river doesn't pair the board, you can still get that one valuebet from bluffcatch.
