As you already said - marginal open. Actually disconnected KKxx hands are doing extremely bad against solid 3beting ranges in general. KKK6 however is doing even worse, I'd probably openfold 100%, maybe open in on the BTN if blinds aren't 3beting at all vs BTN. You definitely need to fold to a 3bet though

This hand is an extremely marginal open on the button. Even if it was K♣:K♠:K♥:J♥: its a fold
Having shorties behind means your high pairs go up in value. But in general shorties play really aggro meaning you need a smooth equity hand to continue. And your hand is the definition of unsmooth equity

This is basically the same as pondering whether 95s is a better open from the CO against shorties or against deep stacked players, when its a clear fold whenever...

not sure if 4 bet shove is bad against a midstack, it depends how much he 3 bets I guess. against full stack I think fold is better

AAA is the only playable 3-of-a-kind hand imo. Clear fold any position, maybe can call BB vs SB against weak player but thats about it.

Why are you calling 3b? Obviously you're not gonna hit set almost ever, so you dont have odds to call to set mine,al also opponent doesnt have even 100bb to give you implieds. I guess you must assume you have the best hand against shorty? But then why did you fold such blank flop / didnt just get-it-in pre if you want to continue?

Yep agreed. Whole hand is missplayed.

If they had 20bb stacks we could get it in preflop. But as that is not the case it's just a fold preflop.
