wow lol ♦. well i can see your point but you do realise that you got some sort of redraw yourself right? i think folding here is the worst play. if you feel hes freerolling just call and see a river at least. also first of all he raises utg and you give him so much creit. which hands that a reasonable player raises utg contain 57? i cant think of that many besides high pair preferably double suited. then again if you think hes freerolling he has to have an overpair with 57 and a fd here. i cant think of any hand that fullfills these requirements that dont cbet this flop.

now if we add more hands to his range since he has 20 pfr which is definately looser than avg then why is he not cbetting the flop with 57xx that has a fd. besides lets say jj75 ds other possible hands could be 5678, maybe 5789 altho youre blocking a lot of these hands already.

we need to know if villain checks back jj57ds with fd on this flop. would you check that back? can you actually bet/call flops with that type of hand? i cant tell for sure since obviously im probably the weakest player that commenting in this boards section by far. im just trying to share my thoughts. jj75 with fd for example has 41% equity on this flop vs ttxx. thats quite impressive. vs two pair even 47%. it only starts to get really bad vs set or twp pair with better fd. but i feel like such a hand should be cbetting here since theres so many turn cards that r just bad and folding out equity is huge 4way. but thats just what i think.

i mean obviously we cant assume villain plays what we would play his hand or his range. so hard to say. i think folding the nuts cant be the right play anyway.

To fold nuts you need very special spot, and this certainly is not one of them. As said you even have draw to better nuts, so calling and seeing river cant be bad if you're not willing to shove yourself.

Special spot to fold nuts would be such where many players are getting a ton of money in on a wet board, where nuts are very weak.

Hero has a small redraw, but most of the time opponent has 57 and pot is splitted in all-in situation. 8 comes 10% of times so I would not shove here. Instead hero's EV goes up if he just calls and then bets big any flushing or pairing river. That line has better EV than just shoving. If opponent calls with 57, no harm done. If he has a flush/boat, the outcome would have been same with turn shove.

I think that when opponent checks flop, the only set he can have is 44. Pretty narrow part of his range. If he has 57 with 2 pairs, he has same amount of redraw outs as hero. If he has 57 with a FD, I think he would cbet a lot of times.

If just calling ott, then c-raise on blank rivers.
