vs: TwiceT (I'm sure you're reading this :) 16/12, 3% 3bet overall'

since we're a bit deeper I decided to just call. I give him a tight range from a tight AK/JJ+ to maybe a bit loose AQs/TT+, in rare cases a semibluff with like a suited connector/lower pocket pair. But overall most of his 3betting hands vs my UTGraise will be pretty strong. That's why I gave me enough implieds to call.
The flop is great. I'm to 99% sure to have the best hand - 99 aren't very likely. He cbets pretty strong on this dry board.
I decided to let my hand look like TT-QQ. I planned to c/c the flop, the turn and the river - in order to let my hand look pretty weak and to maybe induce a loose 3rd barrel from him (AK e.g.). (overall I assume my image on PP is rather weak, I often show weakness in reraised pots, and that's why I exactly wanted to let this hand look like a weaker overpair).
would you choose another line? c/raise Flop or c/c and c/raise Turn?
obviously that river isn't a nice card. I folded since imo I only have a bluff catcher. TT-KK won't usually push the river. why should they? the would be turned into a bluff. most likely I put him on AA, and AK, (if what I planned to convey with my play worked he'll often try a 2nd barrel with AK imo).

would be interesting what you had TwiceT btw ;) I felt pretty bad after this hand honestly...

Are you sure that he´d b/f turn with overpair?
I would likely c/rai on the turn, but your line is also fine, just:
- don´t think he´d triple barrel there too often, I might be worng ofcourse
- do you think that he´d bet river with TT-QQ (as you said that you´re representing flop and turn by checking TT-QQ or maybe middle pp). So that leaves only AA, KK that he´d shove for value and maybe some random bluffs, although since you called twice then it is not so likely.
Consider all that I like c/rai on the turn, and let him decide if he wants to call you down with overpair.

I woudl likely c/r flop, since it is good baord to bluffraise and he knows that and you can´t really represent anything else than set (maybe also KK, AA), and players don´t beleiev that you have set in 3-bet pots;)

Well, because twicet is a good thinking player I play a little bit tricky in this spot.
there are 2 lines I like more then yours:

1. donk/call flop, donk turn - if just called on the flop - c/r turn

2. c/mr flop/bet turn/bet river

your line is also possible obviously but I think he might be checking behind TT-QQ on the river and is only betting KK/AA. On this river he is probably betting his whole range to make you fold.

In my opinion he will always have a hand if he bets the turn, there is only A :spade:K :spade: he might barrel again. A raise ould look strong as hell anyway. So after you played c/c on the flop I play it the same way as you did.

Best regards,

my line is probably best against over-aggro opponents. but as you both say I think c/raising the flop weak is better than my line against a normally aggro player.

your hand looks a lot like JJ and QQ as played. u cant ever have an A here (besides AA) and therefore this river might be a really good 3 barrel bluff spot for me.

in this spot i had AA. 100bb i like your line vs me, but that little deep, a small flop c/r would be nice since you would then always get my stack because your range consists of more TT-KK than of sets imo.
if u c/r turn as played i almost certainly know u dont have TT-KK and i can find a fold because you will always have a set then i guess.

river obv sucks for u, im not sure how i would play KK here on the river. im not afraid of a str8, but there is not a lot that can call that river. as played i think your fold is fine.

thx for letting me know TwiceT! after all I'm favoring the c/r flop line most. it simply gives the least information and me the maximum value.

cu at the tables :)
