SB: $167.35 (334.7 bb)
BB: $14.50 (29 bb)
UTG: $61.80 (123.6 bb)
MP: $183.62 (367.2 bb)
Hero (CO): $75.17 (150.3 bb)
BTN: $40.79 (81.6 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with K♥ K♣ 8♥ 8♠
UTG folds, MP raises to $2.35, Hero raises to $8.40, 2 folds, BB calls $7.90, MP calls $6.05

Flop: ($26.05) 6♣ 2♣ 4♠ (3 players)
BB bets $6 and is all-in, MP raises to $26.50, Hero folds

Turn: ($38.05) T♥ (2 players, 1 is all-in)
River: ($38.05) 7♥ (2 players, 1 is all-in)

BB fish 62/11, 37 hands
MP good aggressive reg: 29/19, 451 hands. Ag 4.0 I've seen him making moves, especially on flop/turn but he usually has it when betting the riv.

Really struggled to find the right plan postflop as I felt that MP had to be quite strong in this spot.
Thanks

you have nothing man, flop totally missed you, snap fold. bare overpair in plo isn't worth shit. even if MP is doing this with a bare 6 he has 40% against you. although this board shouldn't hit him if he's a bad reg opening was too much from MP he can have like AK53 here or AK66 3567 etc. so it's not like he can never have it and even the bluffs he has like 578cc etc. have lots of equity against you, even like QQcc is fliping with you, and you guys are deep, fold that shit fast

MP had K♦:J♥:8♣:9♣: for bare 9 high flushdraw. BB had Q♥:J♣:9♦:3♣: So i had 62% equity here which I folded. Do you think:

1. MP's move is good because he understands I can't hit this board often with my CO vs MP 3b range and he should have sufficient equity vs the shorties flop jam range?; or
2. Overly ambitious with just a low fd ?

mp a reg but too wide from MP I'm 100% sure, KJ9c8c shouldn't be an open from MP. top double gapper oop mw low spr is suicide, gonna be dominated way to often, so he's not thinking anything in those terms that you said, he raised becuase he has a low fd and he wants you to fold out a higher fd, that's all, he's not thinking what could you have etc. cuz his range doesn't hit this board either. his line was correct tho if I opened that and got like this on the flop I'd do the same thing for the reasons he did it.
BB is doing whatever
you on the other hand was just this time in the best case scenario here and that will not happen often and even here you had 40% to lose so it's like in nlhe when you make a river call and you hit the only hand he could have as value but everything else he's bluffing, that doesn't mean the call was wrong just a bit of cooler in that case, same here where you folded a better hand int his one case, like especially this villain that open wider on MP can hit this board better we see now. 3way there's always a problem with hands like this the following:
often one guy will be dominating you with better made hand and other with better draw ... /
and like also, you have bare overpair spr is high that's just a fold no matter the flop especially when str8 possible like this is such a snap fold spot, on the long run you can't be stacking off with bare overpairs on high spr!

Yeah, agreed. I think my fold is good. Wondering more about villain's play. Thanks.

Good fold.

Terribie play by MP preflop and also otf 150bb deep. I would just tag him reg-fish, meaning after obvious whale he is the next best customer I'd like to play with :)

MP raise has some idea in it, as hero should not often have a hand that can comfortably call there. Even AA+nfd doesn't have equity vs. straight. But to risk over 100bb to win few dollars from main pot is a bit crazy as he can't be sure that hero fold overpair+fd.
