My doubts here are not so much about this particular hand but about how to interpret villain's hand in these spots.

I raise pre because I think our hand has some equity and I really would rather take the pot there and not play it OOP. It may be a loose raise without reads, but I don't really know.

Now what I have trouble with is figuring out how the villain's range looks when he calls the raise pre. I'd imagine something like low broadways, mid-low suited aces and some suited connectors. I don't think he has pocket pairs because he would have shoved pre (maybe 22-33?).

Looking back, that flop hits villain's range extremely well, and I maybe should have given up on the flop.

What are your thoughts on that?

Usually it's good when another high card comes in if, you're the one with initiative that is, proper cbet opportunity

I think you played it well. Your range hit this board I think better than his calling range, but on the turn and river I would give up as well against most likely a fish that isn’t folding often.

Thanks for the feedback! I agree that it hits my range better because I have higher pairs, but I thought that there was no sense bluffing where he wasn't folding his Tx and Jxs, which could definitely be in his calling range.
