AQ - two pair on the flop

His play on this board looks very strong but I'm not sure if you can fold top 2 pair here.
AA and QQ are not likely because 1) only 1 combo left of both 2) he probably would 4bet at least AA pre
He could have AK, a split with AQ or a weaker 2 pair hand.

I agree with you. In most cases it looks like villain got AK as there is low chance that he could have AA or QQ and thats why I actually called. But dont you think he could have 44? This is nl2, full of fishes, they will try to catch their sets with every pair from TT-22 and no matter how much they have to pay. Also I dont think he could have weaker 2 pair as it would be nonsense to call with Q4 and even A4s would be crazy call.

It is an unpleasant spot for sure. It is impossible for us to fold in this spot readless and I like the passive line you chose after you get raised on the flop. You are very deep and there is little reason for you to 3bet the flop. Calling turn and river on that rundown also seems perfectly reasonable although his line is very strong and you will often face stronger hands. I disagree that we can exclude AA/QQ as he will call those preflop as well being 250+ BB deep. You will often either split or lose the hand but without any information i would also call down.

i think you played the hand good, sometimes you will have strong hands and lose anyway but most important is to make good decisions and personally i would be happy if i didn't lose more on a hand like this

If it were 100BB deep or even 150-200BB, I would be happy to 3bet flop and get the money in right there, but as this is close to 300BB, I really like your play. You get enough value while still potcontrolling it a bit. Well played
He should not have QQ or AA in his range bc he should have 4bet pre but 44 is deffo in his range. I would pull my hair if he has 33 or 88
