It’s interesting to know how big your sample was of him and if you have reads on him. Most of the time I would just give up on a blank river card, because most draws are missed and I don’t see a reason why he will fold on a blank river. Most pairs will most likely call and the missed draws you will beat most of the time.

i had small sample of 200 hands and no specific reads, but you're right, river bet might be less effective here due to missed draws...
