I was wondering if anyone could give me a good explanation why low suited aces are stronger from the SB than from CO, but low Suited Connectors are stronger from CO than SB?
I think you will need to clarify that question as it currently is almost impossible to answer.
Ok. Full-ring standard chart in equilab. CO and SB have similar ranges. However, in SB, it suggests betting with A2s-A6s where you don't with CO. Meanwhile, CO suggests 87o+ and 97s+ as off suit connectors and suited semi-connectors. I was wondering what is the theoretical or practical basis for these choices. Or what are some illustrative examples. Is A2s hurt that much more in the risk of a 3 way hand? and is 87o and 97s hurt that much more out of position?
CO - 22+, A2s+, K6s+, Q7s+, J7s+, T7s+, 97s+, 86s+, 75s+, 64s+, 54s, ATo+, KJo+, QJo, JTo, T9o (26.09%)
SB - 22+, A2s+, K2s+, Q4s+, J7s+, T7s+, 97s+, 86s+, 75s+, 64s+, 54s, A7o+, K9o+, Q9o+, J9o+, T9o, 98o (36.35%)
As you can see, we open all suited aces from both positions and 54s+ as well. We add a lot more hands SB vs BB because there is only one opponent left. I have no idea why you would open 87o from CO and not open A2s. Maybe you should reconsider the ranges you use.
