Turn play Question. Should one barrel in this spot?

I think the hand overall is fine (Do say otherwise if you feel thats the case!) but my question here is what to do on the turn. Clearly i should call given that min raise but let's say he checks..I can't really bet for value can i here? Am I just giving up and hoping to see a free card? Moreover, what if he had bet, let's say 1/2 - 3/4 pot? Just a standard pot odds/implied odds calc and go from there?

Thanks!

I would double barrel on the turn, as a sort of semi-bluff. We could have the best hand and we have plenty of outs to improve. I would check river and give up if we don't hit (unless he bets 2 cents again...)

Yes, I would.
Don't fixate too much on implied odds here. if the flush hits, you won't get much extra value. you have the top two flush-cards so he gets at best the third nuts plus the board is paired so you don't even make the nuts yourself if you hit your flush. You can't play for stacks when big action comes

I think it’s good to know what kind of player we are dealing with. Against a passive calling station I wouldn’t mind the check/call on his min bet on the turn. Against a regular it’s fine to 2nd barrel.

I think both check call and bet are good options but as SDK said it depends a bit on villain, betting against a calling station makes less sense.

I like check here. I doubt that many better hands can fold. You can probably profitable call a 66-75% pot bet, but the exact size you can call is hard to know.

You should know that I like to build by bluff ranges "from below". I'd always bet a hand like 8♠:7♠: here. Now if he folds 9 high, it is an achievement.
