Cbet flop & turn

Hey all,

I 3bet this hand mainly because BTN villain was a LAG player and most likely the 4bet/call range was very widely.
As he call I assigned the following range: 77-22,ATs-A2s,KJs-K8s,Q9s+,J9s+,T9s,98s,87s,76s,65s,ATo-A9o,K9o+,Q9o+,J9o+.

My concern is related to cbet flop and turn. I played correctly?

Cbet flop reasons:

I had 50% of Equity in this spot against the range that I assigned.
The FE I considered around 25% mainly because the low percentage he hitted the flop and due his playing style.
This type of player loves to see the turn and kept not drawing hands in his range for the turn

Cbet turn:

Despite I was drawing dead because any A on board will complicated my situation I decided to keep aggresion because just a small part of villain range will hit the board and the second barrel showed a strong hand than a bluff. (my point of view).

Bet sizes:
3bet - 3,33x because were oop
Flop - pot size to show up a made hand
Turn - I thought to keep expensive to show up monster hand.

I expect against a regular it’s sounds like a good move to 2nd barrel on a wet board like this.
Against a random NL2 I would just give up the turn, because they don’t know where the fold button is.

The 3bet pre is standard. But your conclusion about that when villain is playing LAG style he will 4bet wide and call your 3bets wide might not be true. Players at this level want to play many hands but they might be extremely tight when someone 3bets them.

The flop cbet is bad. You have A high. The bet size is also too big. Yes you have nice equity against his pre calling range (which btw is a bit too wide on the off-suit side), but that doesn't mean cbetting is always a good idea. You are out of position which makes it worse. Your hand has very poor equity retention (more cards come -> your equity drops significantly). And when you bet this big you isolate yourself against strong range.

Common leak guys have at the micros is that they cbet way too much in 3bet pots. The pot is big and they miss and now they don't know what to do -> they bet and hope villain folds. I can tell you that it stops working when you go a couple of limits higher. Also big bet sizes doesn't mean you have a made hand.

So to conclude:
pre was ok
flop cbet was not the best option, especially with this bet size imo
turn is total spew.

You have position on this guy (not when in SB though). Confront him when out of the blinds. Much easier.

Other than that, apart from the fact that the board and you hand was wrong for what you did, the betting pattern is fine to bluff out a good LAG. It takes two barrels to get them off. Don't bluff without outs, and don't bluff on board you can't represent. He knows you missed it and (if he's good) he called thinking he can bet you off an overpair on a turn scare card (if he thinks you're good). As you can see, a lot of things need to go right here. Dangerous.
