also 1k$ Bankroll should not be sufficient to play NL100 seriously.

My starting goal was a 1000 dollars. I would want 3000 to start playing nl100. I'm thinking it would take two to three months to move up each level.

My first day was off to a great start. Played a 1000 hands and I am up 10 dollars.

I am going to restart the challenge at NL2 with 20 in my account. I continue to have a hard time when I go on tilt. I will lose 5 buyins or so and instead of quitting for the day, I actually end up moving up in stakes to try and get it back quickly. Has anyone else had this problem and if they did, how do you get over it? I feel I can be a great player someday but by doing this, I destroy any chance of that. Thanks for listening.

I would suggest setting a stop-loss of 3 BI. Take a complete break, go for a run or lift some weights, or quit for the day.

3 BI stop-losses are a common tilt management strategy, but different people have different methods of dealing with it.

Sounds like some good advice. It's going to be hard to do but I know I have to.

I joined the site last week and have tried to build a bankroll playing Zoom poker twice without success. I have made the decision to switch to spin n gos. It seems there are a lot of fish in these games and I think I can make a profit. I was always a better MTT player than cash.

Starting bankroll: 3 dollars
Current bankroll: 6.75 dollars
Chest: 3 dollars
Profit: 0.75 dollars
Games: 185
Goal: 100 dollars in two months.

Largest multiplyer I hit was 6x.
Also had a 22 buyin down swing. From what I hear that would be a normal downswing in these.

22 buy-inns swings are nothing in Spin & Go’s. Hopefully you will stay on the positive side of the variance in these games. Otherwise you could lose your entire bankroll if you aren’t quit fast enough.

Well I quickly went trough the 3 dollars. I played around 120 tourneys at one point with 1st place in the low 40% winning and this only gave me a profit of 1.50 I have reloaded 15 dollars and playing 1 dollar tourneys. I am doing much better at these games. It feels like you are playing for something. I realize there is a really good chance I go broke but I can reload if need be. Hopefully I won't have to.
