Party, $0.50/$1 Pot Limit Omaha Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

SB: $104.51 (104.5 bb)
BB: $295.57 (295.6 bb)
UTG: $337.03 (337 bb)
Hero (MP): $243.69 (243.7 bb)
CO: $93 (93 bb)
BTN: $109 (109 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 4♦: 6♦: J♣: 5♣:
UTG folds, Hero raises to $3.50, CO folds, BTN raises to $10, SB folds, BB calls $9, Hero calls $6.50

Flop: ($30.50) 3♠: K♦: A♣: (3 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, BTN checks

Turn: ($30.50) 2♦: (3 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, BTN bets $20, BB folds, Hero raises to $88.98, BTN calls $68.98

River: ($208.46) T♣: (2 players)
Hero bets $144.71 and is all-in, BTN calls $10.02 and is all-in

BU seems to be a tight reg. I think BB was a recreational player.

1.Do you think I'm getting out of line with opening this from MP? Is it going to bite me in the a** long run?
2. Let's say BU bets 1/2p on this flop instead of checking. Do you think we can float with our back doors and g/shot?
3. As played, ok to go for x/r on turn? I was thinking that BU has to bet most value hands now and if he has something like QQJJ he's not calling a lead anyway.

Thanks

Pre-flop open seems loose for sure, but maybe it’s profitable on a tight table. Then I would fold to a 3bet pre-flop for sure, but if you have a decent edge post-flop it could be an interesting call.

As played I would bet on the turn for value against 2 players with the straight and flush draw. I don’t think we want to give them a free card. The rest of the hand seems standard.

1.Yes too loose from MP.

SDK if hero opens this, he is never folding to 3b. It makes no sense.

2. 4 out gutter + weak backdoors in a board that smacks into 3b range. Imo way too wide to call. Great if you hit a 2, but even then villain will have redraw to a real straight / FH.

3. I would lead, there is draws and weaker valuehands like 2prs to get value from. Hand very well hidden too. Not expecting BTN to stab much, nor call if we c/raise.
