Well, that happens, I'm sure I've done that before (can't recall doing it, but I sure have in the 1.5 million hands I've played or so haha)

Things aren't going too hot right now, but I'm trying to keep focused and hope the variance goes away soon, what else can I do ;(;(

HAND #1
This is pretty standard, but I would like to know what the most EV+ decision is here, both are regs, BTN is fairly loose, SB is a 19/9, over 1,5k hands from both of them. I went all in because I was running out of time and also because it represents more AK than AA, but that also makes them fold most of their hands. Opinions? maybe I'm overthinking and 4bet pushing is the best way to play the hand. I struggle when I have more than 70bbs because I've always been a 50bb player. I'm working on it tho

HAND #2
These are 2 monster whales, that were driving me nuts flopping all sorts of nuts against me and spreading all my money a hand later around the table. This wasn't tilt or anything like that, I just knew I was way ahead of his range and I was basically committed since I opened the hand to 7bbs. Should I have given up?

HAND #3
This one is very questionable. OR is a reg, cold caller is a 75/0 in 16 hands, that means he limped/called 12 out of 16 hands, pretty nice
I called preflop because I had very good odds, obviously. In that flop I went for the check/raise because the fish put a lot of dead money, and I don't expect the reg to have a very good hand because of his OR to 2bbs and his cbet of a bit less than half pot. Turn is a blank, I don't think any of the hands that pay in the flop fold in the turn, but I don't know if I care too much, I have a gutshot, TP and I block some straights, the fish is most likely going for a draw, and the reg, had he have something good would have reraised the flop IMO. River is pretty bad, but I didn't find the strength to x/fold with the stack of 1/4 of the pot. Probably I should have raised bigger in the flop and pushed the turn. What do you guys think?

Well, this is what I have so far, pretty happy with the volume, but the results are obviously not good. It has been a weird week, I feel I have lost every 80/20 in my favor, and the only 'badbeats' I've made were when they flopped me 2pairs or sets vs my overpairs and stuff like that. Also, many regs started to randomly pay all my 3bets with 36s and hands of that sort, and flopping FD+OESD, but most of the times, my overpair/Top pair held.

Anyways, so much room for improvement, I hope the variance starts to let me free

Hey! thanks for stopping by! I play 6 tables usually, 4 zoom and a couple of regular tables. I don't play fullstack because back in the day, when I started (2011 or so), I read that playing shortstack was the easiest strategy, that you needed less money and stuff like that, and that's what I went for, I didn't really know what was good. Then I got better at it, but never really learnt how to play deep. I even took a couple of coaches from shortstackers. And now that I've come back I saw that the material for fullstack in the spanish community is still the same, no one has updated it and everyone says that it is obsolete and not a winning strategy anymore, at least in .es.

Also Raul Mestre (SirDonald in pokerstars) created a school that is very big here in spain, because the staff is from here, they know the metagame, they know all we need to know about taxes and a lot of things very useful for Spaniards, and he played with 50bbs too, and the strategy there is up to date and very winning.

I really like to play deep tho, so I'm working on it.

The guy is a reg that I played in NL10 back in 2012/2013, he was a supernova at that time, I'm sure he played 150k hands/month, because he never went up to NL25+. He has 58 of wwsf, over 15% raise cbet, 15% donk bet, 12 3bet, 14 sqz... he likes to try to outplay the regs. That river has a lot of busted draws, and the only hands that beat me are JQ and what he has, but he can have a worse set, 2 pairs and some busted FD's. Is it a fold on the river?

This is unlucky for sure, but no bad beat. You were already drawing dead on the flop and I call something a bad beat if you are far in front when the money is going in and he hits his straight flush then.

yeah, that's not a badbeat but a cooler, I wasn't thinking too much when I posted it, just wanted to cry a bit, I'm such a baby

Things are somewhat improving, very slowly, but improving. Every day I'm trying to play deeper until I feel 100% comfortable playing with 100+ bbs, but my situation right now is not the best, because I don't feel like I'm beating the level, I'm down a few buy ins this month and I'm not running any good right now, but that's my goal for the rest of the year, beat NL10 playing multistack, and staying deep in the tables. I want at least 75k hands winning at 7evbb/100, which I'm sure I can do if I stop paying draws out of odds, because I think that's where all my money is going. Coolers and badbeats are part of the game and I don't mind them at all (I'd rather not suffer them tho ♦ ♦)

The first hand is fine in my book. On the turn he can have many draws, Kx or sometimes even small pockets that floated. I would bet the turn and check/call the river.

Even with your read, I don't like to play for stacks preflop with AQo. As played, his line doesn't make much sense on the river. With AT, 33 or 22 he would NEVER check the river after you checkbehind the turn, especially being as aggressive as you describe him. That only leaves some mediocre Hands (which he will also just call often) and bluffs. Curious to know what he showed

I have been on an upswing lately, the month is looking nicer now. I'm playing mainly in stars, but I also play some hands in 888 to generate some rake, but it's not going too hot there, I still think is worth playing there a few hands a day to unlock some material in another school as well as raking for strategy.

My red line is going very down since I started to stay deep on the tables, bigger pots are way harder to play with 100bbs+, but still working on it.

I played a lof of hands this week, pretty happy about the results. I have been playing deep, I feel it's a lot harder than playing shortstack, but there is no better sensation than winning a 200bbs pot.

This is what I played this week in NL10:

I felt very good about the run I was having and I have a good bank, so I decided to open a couple of NL25 tables at night, because at night, the NL25 zoom starts rolling with 20-40 people, which are mostly regs that I see every day in NL10. I gave myself 4 buy ins (shortstack, 12.50€ each) to go for the shot, and my first session was 100€ up, so I stayed for the rest of the week. I have only played 7k hands there, and 6bb/100 so far, but nothing too impressive, I won't put any graphs for the shot yet, let's see if I can stay there this week.

1) Don't see many advantages of Squeezing 88 there, but that's ok i guess

2) What do you think is his range here after calling the pre-raise and then your squeeze? On this kind of Flop he will mostly have Nuts or highcards/underpairs... Since you do not C-Bet i'd like to ask: did you squeeze for value or as a bluff pre?

3) What is his range at the River in your opinion? (without "looking at the results")

It is great that you won those hands but honestly I think they are quite badly played.

In the first hand I would say squeezing is quite bad. You get a good price to setmine. Most of the pocket pairs should be played that way from BB, I see no point in 3betting or squeezing them. Flop and turn are ok but calling that river bet with mid pair seems like a waste of money without good reads.

In the second hand preflop was ok. Your sizing is quite big but against a fish it is probably fine. OTF I don't like your bet that much, with nut BDFD it is slightly better but you still have just 2 overcards and I would say villains range is full of pocket pairs and broadway combos so your fold equity doesn't seem so great here. You should also be a bit more careful when cbetting out of position because that will get you in tough situations. Calling that turn raise with just 2 overcards is not so good and you probably know what I think about calling that river
If you know villain is a fish, it doesn't mean he hates money. If you don't have a special read that villain is AGGRESSIVE fish, I would respect his play a lot. Most often standard fishy players just like calling too much but are quite passive. If you believe he is aggressive you can bluffcatch more frequently in this spot but you have a lot better hand in your range than just A high.

Hey guys, long time without swinging by. About the hands, I don't really remember anymore, the fish was very fish and was playing every hand that way, probably it was a fold anyways.
The week wasn't the greatest.
Pokerwise, which can be the only interesting thing for you to read, I finished the week with a very poor volume in cash, running bad, playing bad and making a lot of changes to my play, especially with 3bets and 4bets. After 2 weeks of playing NL25 I end a bit above break even, nothing to write home about, so I'm gonna move down to NL10 again and keep developing the changes. I felt pretty good playing deep, except for a couple of big pots with more than 250 effective bbs, in one of them I was OOP and they called me a 3bet and the flop came something like 567ss, I played it very passive, and that's the tendency I'm noticing now, I play very passive when I'm deep and I'm missing a lot of good spots to get money.
Also, the biggest leak I have seen when I was reviewing some hands is that I bet very big when I have a big hand, especially in the river, where most of my bluff bets are a bit over half pot, and my value bets are more around potbets, a lot of times even overbets, and obviously no one pays me except for the weak players and the people that have a better hand than mine.

In the personal aspect, the week was pretty shitty, my best friend is from Venezuela, and you probably know how the situation is over there, for those who don't, the whole country is going down the gutter, the average wedge is 70$/month, they are running out of medicaments and food, education is very expensive... and because of that, the crime is increasing alarmingly. My friends mom still lived there, and she had diabetes, but it was impossible for her to afford the insulin, plus in most of the places they didn't even have it, so my friend sends it from here, or another brother buys it in Panama and sends it to her. Well, for the last 2 months, every package they sent her with insulin 'got lost', and sadly she passed away a few days ago because of that. I hate to see those things... I have decided to give all my spin and go winnings to an organization that sends medicaments to Venezuela, and since I decided that, I got 2 of this:

Didn't win any of them, but still I got some good money just by playing them. So far I'm up 50€, I'm dedicating a lot of time to it, and also to design a HUD, because I haven't seen any free one and I don't want to pay for a HUD.

I will come back more often this week with some hands, I have plenty of them marked, let's see if I can crush NL10 this week, wish me luck!

About the HUD, definitely build your own. It takes some time when you play around with your tracking software but I think it is quite simple. No need to pay for it.

Hey guys, I haven't uploaded in a while, reason is that I have been playing a lot, and also setting up a challenge that I decided to stream, this is the link to my profile, I'm streaming every session I play, starting on NL2 with 10€, moving up the stakes with 10 buy ins for the next challenge (my buy ins are 50bbs). After 13 sessions I finally got enough to start NL10.

Why did I do that? I was having a downswing, playing really bad, running even worse. This is my NL10 graph for the past month:

It looks terrible, and it really concerns me the red line. It is true that this was the first month I played deep, and I had a bunch of ugly spots in 4bet pots where I had to fold, Axx when I had KK, and of course a lot of bad play. This is the general graph:

Got some profit in NL25, but I felt everyone had an edge over me, so I decided to cashout and restart all over again, that's why I did the challenge. Now I feel much better, and I don't think I will be playing a lot of hands with 120+bbs, I played 3 or 4 years with 40bbs up to 80bbs, and I don't feel any comfortable playing with 100+bbs, maybe when I can feel good in NL25 I will start to study it more in depth and start with a secondary bankroll in NL2 playing deep only.

This is my youtube channel, it was the very first time I used obs, so the beginning isn't too hot, I spent most of the time setting it up, at the moment there is only music, because no one has ever joined yet but if I see anyone I will start speaking either English or Spanish, that's also one of the reasons I didn't want to start commenting right away, because I don't want people to think that it is only English and not get any Spanish speaking follower, or the opposite if I start speaking Spanish.

My goal for december is to finish it in NL25, I will move up to NL25 with 125€, only 10 buy ins, and move down with 50€. After that I will start using a normal bankroll management, I know it is very hard to settle down in a limit with such a short bankroll, but I want to learn to move through the stakes, because right now, whenever I move up I'm scared of losing big pots, and whenever I have to move down I play too loose because I don't care about the money because it is at least half the amount I was playing before.

Also I want to play more hands than this month, I don't know if it will be possible, but shooting to get 80k hands. By the end of this month, if everything goes as expected, the .es will be forever gone, and France, Spain, Portugal and Italy will start their new lobby, veeeery excited!
