Winter Series
This coming December 25, the PokerStars Winter Series gets underway running through January 7.
Featuring 38 events from a range of Hold’em and Omaha games across the PokerStars menu, the series also boasts four entry fee levels, making for 152 tournaments in total and ensuring everyone can take part.
The Winter Series Main Event will be played on January 7, again with fees to sort all entrants ($2.20, $22, $215 and $2,100), and the winner of each will be awarded a Platinum Pass package into the new $9,000,000 Players No Limit Holdem Championship in the Bahamas next January.
The package will include the $25,000 buy-in to the PokerStars Players NL Hold’em Championship, accommodation at the world famous Atlantis Resort in The Bahamas plus $2,000 for expenses.
Qualify for the Winter Series
The rest of the series’ winners will all receive a ticket to a unique freeroll, where again the winner will receive a Platinum Pass ticket. The PSPC All-in Shootout will take place on January 9 at 15:00 (ET).
Winter Series satellites are running now, plus look out for special Spin & Go’s and freerolls. In fact, on News Year’s Eve a special New Year’s Eve Magic Freeroll will run at 10:00 (ET) where Winter Series tickets will be randomly allocated to hundreds of players as part of a further $15,000 awarded in freebies.

Entry fees range as follows:
• Micro level: USD $0.55 - $5.50
• Low level: entry fee of $5.50 - $55
• Medium level: entry fee $55 - $530
• High level: buy-in of $530 - $5,200
