Yes, yes, it's true. I'm a total Omaha fish, I know it. But lets fix it!

I enjoyed the last thread about open raising hands, so I'm doing a second one.

The idea is the same. If I am first in and nobody raised before me, can I open raise the following hands from the following positions?

1. K♣:K♥:8♦:9♠: from EP (opened)
2. 3♥:9♠:T♣:T♦: from MP (folded)
3.Q♥:T♦:8♥:5♦: from CO (folded
4. Q♦:8♥:8♦:4♥: from BTN (folded)
5. 4♠:7♠:7♥:J♦: from BTN (folded)
6.5♦:T♦:Q♦:T♥: from CO (opened)
7. K♠:Q♠:T♦:6♠: from EP (folded)
8.3♣:T♠:J♣:Q♠: from MP (opened)
9.A♠:K♣:T♣:3♦: from CO (opened)
10. A♥:4♥:2♥:4♦: from BTN (opened)
11. 2♥:3♥:5♦:6♦: from BTN (folded)
12. Do I only open premiums from SB?

EP = early position
MP = middle position
CO = cutoff
BTN = button
SB = small blind

Best redargds,
Gabriel

My response:

I open 3 / 4 / 8 / 9;
No. 1 you can argue both ways.
No 10. Is a PLO8 hand
No 6. 5♦: is for me a too heavy dangler / And yes I'm aware that it doesn't bother me in (3)

cheers!

Good answer. +11 from btn excatly imo.

Tight from sb is right, if against capable opponent. If not, can go wider. Also consider limping as a sb strategy.
