I'm curious as to what jobs we all do, what classes we attend, what our favorite music is.

I'll go first, as it should be!

Hi,

I'm Kevin, 23 years old and I live in Belgium. I recently started my own little company called Rockaholic Entertainment. Goal is to organise all kind of music-related events going from a rockrally to a drum & bass party, a festival and clubtour (titled EnterThe101 ). I just begun this and I'm still studying for an extra degree in Marketing. I already have a degree (class of 2007) in Communications - Event.

The first two smaller events from the clubtour are all set for half March and I'm very excited about it! The bands that are performing:

Billy The Kill - www.myspace.com/billythekillofficial
Billy Got Spanked - www.myspace.com/billygotspanked
HOMER - www.myspace.com/homer666
Exit On The Left - www.myspace.com/exitontheleft

Who knows, maybe a group or two will catch your attention!

Take care,

Kevin

This is great. Quite a diverse group. Even in apparent ages.

Currently I am living in Hamilton, Ontario (Canada) working in the Imaging Research Center at a hospital as a medical radiation technologist specializing in nuclear medicine. Just about finished the requirements for my specialty certificate in PET/CT (Positron Emmission Tomography / Computed Tomography).

Good luck with your events Kevin.

cheers,

I own and run a corporation manufacturing wine and other drinks in Ontario.

Seems like many Canadians and also some UW alumni and students here :) I see some notable players coming out of this school. Personally I think it's something in the beer.

picks for the top 10 names worth keeping an eye on:

1. Seemingly Anyone Who’s Ever Gone to School at the University of Waterloo

There must be something in the water at Waterloo, for the amount of success its poker alumni has had can’t possibly be a coincidence. There’s Will Ma (“Cutiepi314”), who took down a formerly-WPT Aviation Club event in Paris, Steve Paul-Ambrose (“stevejpa”), who won the WPT event in the Bahamas, Mike McDonald (“timex”), a well-known backer of online players who is currently the youngest person to ever win an EPT event, and Glen Chorny (“choron”), the defending champion from the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo. Between those four alone they have almost $7.5 million in tournament scores. And most figure that the best player from Waterloo is not even in that group: Matt Kay (”ch0ppy“) has been a beast online for years, winning the Sunday Million himself last year, and waiting patiently for his time to grab some cash at the live felt.

i'm just a law student from brazil.

no job yet

How do you 'manufacture' wine? I've lived in South Africa for a number of years and I was lead to believe it matures in casks............... :)
