Fold preflop. I believe for FR your capping is AA, KK, QQ and AK.

As for postflop I think your beat but I find it hard to let go. So it's about finding the place from where you call down. Problem is that given their aggression it's getting capped anyway. I'll leave the postlop play to someone else. but according to strategy it's preflop fold.

mh the cap preflop is possible imo. you can´t say "it´s fr so you can only cap QQ+ and AK" :). the important thing is which position the raise comes from and here it´s MP3 vs. CO vs. BU and the CO looks quite active preflop + you have position...
i will mark it anyways though because the flop looks quite tough (the turn 3.bet doesn´t make sence at all btw.. you are toasted for sure :)). you are getting 23.4 to 3 if i didn´t miss anything with tp/gk and a gutshot. your Qs aren´t clean most likely and your A outs could easily be dominated as well by AT, AJ, AK, JJ, TT or even AA. i still think that you have to call. of course there is a very good chance that there will be a cap behind you but the other guys will call as well most of the time and if you hit your straight you might get a view more bets. on the other hand you might be drawing to a split because hands like QQ, AQ, KQ, or even QJ or QT(s) are possible as well. furthermore there is a good chance that your opponents will have a redraw even if you hit your straight on the turn and your implied odds aren´t THAT great because there will be 4 to a straight on the board then...
so i wrote a bit more than i wanted to but i will still mark it and tend to call :P

I think I'd call down every street here.

Preflop I think capping is marginal but ok.

With the aggression on the flop I'd consider myself spanked. You're

Ahead of: KK, QQ, both of which have draws to a split. 99 at a stretch.

Behind: 1010, JJ, AA, AK, AJ, A10. Maybe even KQ with a flopped broadway.

I think I'd call down the flop. You're certainly beat on the turn, but the pot is too big to fold with a inside straight draw. I'd probably still call the river.

I know that's pretty much what frzl said but I wanted to work through it in my own head :}

I was just referring to the articles this site tells us to follow  ;)

Hi phullhand,

by the arrticles it's indeed a fold preflop but I'm sutre you know that.
I like the cap as CO is very aggressive so you have a cap for valure here. You also might get UTG1 off the hand which is great to with a hand that plays well in a pot with few opponents.

On the flop you get 23:3 or ~8:1. Your hand is for sure beat by now so you have to look for the outs to see if continuing is profitable here.
If you give yourself 0,5 out for the ace (you can be easily dominated) and 0 for the Q (as it's also completes a straight) and 3-4 for the gutshot (as there is a chance that you just split) you come to 3,5-4,5 outs.
As most off your outs are to the nuts I think you don't have to subtract any reverse implied odds here. But you can't give yourself a lot implied odds as well.
I think I would coldcall here and fold the turn unimproved to a lot action and only continue if you get better odds than 11:1.

On the turn you get 20:2 or 10:1 so now it's better if you just fold. Coldcalling (or even 3-betting) is too expensive after so much action.

Hi guys, thank you very much for your all answers.

Just to expose what I thought on this hand:

preflop - UTG didn't show any strength, and MP3 and CO was like ATM giving money to everybody on table. So I tried to take my piece of that :) cap preflop was to kick out UTG

flop - TP/GK.. put pressure on UTG to be sure he didn't had KQ. MP3 could have AJ or AT... CO any two cards

turn - UTG checks, he didn't have the KQ. MP3 bet and CO raise as usual. 3-bet now, if MP3 cap I'll be in trouble. He caps. Just call and be resigned.

river - MP3 bet, yes I knew I had lost.. :(
