Villain is recreational. Seemed loose but not crazy loose. Ran PJ calc vs $FI25 range excluding top 6%. Suggests that we have about 40% equity vs a flop raising range of J5+, 34:ss, and Jss+, which I assume is our best case scenario vs typical villains. We'll face that range about 26% of the time once we get to the flop.
Against the other 74% of his range we have about 60-65% equity, so we are doing pretty well vs his folding or floating range.
Given this I'm rather unsure how to proceed since bet/folding to this size doesn't seem great. Should we cbet/f smaller or check? Or something else?
