Against recreational I think the line is fine. On the river it's mostly between smallish valuebet or check-call, depending of your reads on the opponent. As you don't have a lot of information, I would bet-fold the river as he mostly has some kind of a made hand (there aren't a lot of draws on the flop) that he checks behind.

Ty, here he had 4♣:9♣:T♥:7♥: and turned weak pair into bluff.

I think I would fold preflop, postflop makes sense. When we have top 2 I dont really see him calling vbet with many worse hands.

Any other opinions on pre? Hand is in top 28th percentile so must be at least close. Is it because fish on BU you want to fold or the hand?

Im just a nit that really despises rainbow hands :-p But yeah it must be close on either way.

BTN being rec would not be a reason to fold for me on the contrary, unless he is super aggressive. Or blinds are aggressive taking advantage of BTN flatting a lot of crappy hands.

I think i would have played the same but folded river. It's pretty tough to have enough bluffs for the button, unless he's capable of turning made hands into bluffs or he's calling wide pre and then never folding 54** on the turn.

Only thing that makes me want to call the river is that he bets so large. I don't think many recs bet river for pot when they have a small flush...

It's also very hard for BTN to have valuehands. And on another note, if hero folds here everything but flushes I think he is overfolding.

Good point. I have no idea about how much hero should call with. I guess the higher the flush blocker the better?
