Pre Flop: (pot: 2.3 BB) Hero has K♠ K♥

Flop: (12.8 BB, 2 players) 6♥ 7♣ 8♠
Hero bets 8 BB, BB calls 8 BB

Turn: (28.8 BB, 2 players) 7♠
Hero bets 14.4 BB, BB calls 14.4 BB

River: (57.6 BB, 2 players) 3♥
Hero bets 19.43 BB and is all-in, fold,

Looking to his range this is a board that hits his range on different ways (straight, straight draw, trips, some pairs) so i decided to bet big to protect my hand and to give him bad odds to call a draw. On turn i think he could still call me with an 8x, probably some draw, but i have to be careful so bet 1/2 pot because my hand has value and if he raises i probably have to fold. If he calls my big bet flop would also call another big bet on turn. On river should i bet or check-call to induce some bluffs since he bets river 45%?

Cumps ;)

The hand seems standard. Only the bet sizing isn’t ideal, because on turn you invested almost half of your remaining stack. It looks like the BB is a calling station and I think it’s a good option to bet almost pot size on the flop and shove the turn. This way you get you money easier in the middle. Otherwise you need to bet the flop less like half pot and on turn as well to have a nice shove bet left on river.

Cheers,
