So MP seems like a weak reg, playing short. In a previous hand he snap 4b me (BU vs my SB) with A♣:J♣:3♣:K♦: 50bb deep which seems light to me. (He saw me show up with Q678ss in that hand, so I was intending to gii pre here, happily).
In addition, SB was a whale, 55/49, 90 hands - and the main reason for my 3b pre.
