Sorry if the title is difficult to understand, but this was also a difficult hand for me to play. This forum has been great, so let me know if I played this like complete shit or just a little shit lol.

NL4
~eff. $2.84, Hero BTN K♦:K♠:

Preflop
UTG (TAG) raises 0.08, CO (LP) calls
Hero raises 0.32, SB and BB fold
UTG and CO call
SPR: 2.8

Flop ($1.02) J♣:9♣:7♣:
UTG check, CO checks, Hero bets $1.24
- This flop felt worse than seeing an :Ax: his the board. I guess the only way to explain my overbet was to potentially take down the pot right there. I realize now that UTG villain is pot committed and did open, so he's probably not going anywhere.
- With SPR at 2.8, I know I should be willing to felt it and there are only a few combos that UTG could have that beats me here; but with the possible flush on the board should I have switched to checking for pot control?

UTG shoves $2.60, CO calls, Hero?

Spoiler

I called and got damn lucky on the turn!

Turn ($8.82) K♥:
CO checks, Hero shoves $1.40
CO calls

River ($8.82)($1.40) 8♦:
UTG shows J♠:J♥:
CO shows, Q♣:9♦:
Hero wins $11.62

You can’t check behind OTF. I think there won’t be many flushes here, after they call your 3-bet, but at least one of them can easily have one club for a flush draw. You’re quite possibly ahead and should charge them to draw. I think I’d bet a bit smaller, though.

UTG probably has lots of pocket pairs in his range. His x/r is probably either a set or a pair with a FD. As he does it into two players, I think more likely the set and so then we have just two outs. I’d be more comfortable calling if we had KcKx.

That overbet is too much.
Just make your normal c-bet on the flop here and i would fold vs. a shove.

Betting multiway is perceived very strong. People also are afraid of monotone boards and defend horribly. So I would make a small bet. With that you likely get decent amount of folds without isolating yourself against very strong range only.

I do not like the size of your flop cbet. You should bet up to 50% psb and that's all.
Calling the shove+call mw is a suicide, imo...
