In position on a dry board I was drawing to the nut flush but missed it. Checking on the river feels like giving up though. I always want to bluff there but (with the help of this forum) I'm learning to control these urges. Still when reviewing I think I would have made him fold with a big bet on the river.
I had no hands on villain but he was short-stacked and limped in but then called my 3Bet. He seemed to be stationy so I was hesitant to bluff. This is still a spot that always puzzles me. What would be the optimal strategy as played?

As always thanks for help!
