The main thought running through my head here was if i ship and he has a flush, i have no equity.
His range is sets, 2 pair and flushes. Perhaps AsKx.
His bet sizing (turn) is pretty big. Looking at this now, would 2pair or a set ever be betting this big here?

Also, assuming a blank river, and he pushes, are we folding here?..
:f_cry:sick of these spots:f_cry:

I normally cbet these hands.

As played, after his big bet OTT i would probably commit myself and deny him equity if he has a naked spade. If we're beat, we're beat.

He does seem aggro, but small sample and i doubt he'll triple barrel bluff on a board that hits your range hard. Hence the x/r on the turn.

I was considering a bet/shove line, but is it going to be +EV in the longrun when we get called and have 0% equity vs a flush? How do we even work that out?

Whats your reasoning behind c-betting rather then x/c?

You're talking worst case scenario about getting it in vs flush etc, this won't happen all the time. He can also have 2p and some sort of combodraw that he decides to bet.

My reasoning behind cbetting is: People overfold vs cbets in general, having him fold 88 here is a great outcome.
Plus we keep the iniative, makes playing the hand alot easier imo.
Also he shouldn't have AK and we block KQ, so he should have a fairly difficult time continueing on Kxx. But as this board is quite connected he'll still have alot of weaker draws that can call us. When we hit our A/Q we can go in bluffcatch mode, depending on villain.
