I would definitely 3bet preflop.
OTF I would only call his raise. I dont see him check/raising and calling shove with AQ. Maybe at nl2 you will find a call from a FD, but I´m only calling in this spot.

Yeah, that's the reason why you should 3bet, maniak can shove a lot of worse hands and we don't want to play against other players if we can play only against fish. But definitely 3bet for value against anybody.

I hate calling here because 95% of the time you have to fold the turn anyways.
That is exactly the question. Why call when you are going to fold the turn?
Also when you call here and check back turn you totally let him value his equity.

I am really puzzled you know. Like if you re-re-raise him to say 45BB is folding still an option after that?
Maybe yes... So difficult.. If he is doing it as a semi bluff you're hosed anyway.

Please not the me not 3 bet thing. Yes, probably no 55 or 66 around agreed but my question is what to do with the check raise.

People can go crazy on NL2 so he can have TP for sure here, but i only raise here if i know the villain is a fish.

He’s not doing this with JJ, TT, 99, 88, 77, etc. I don’t have an equity calculator available but you are crushed. Only pairs he does this with crush you, aside from KK. His NFD’s have an over + the flush outs which you are basically flipping with, 2 pr, open ended straight draws, open ended straight draws + flush draws.

In a single raised pot I can find a fold on the flop. I can also see calling and re-evaluating turns but the stack to pot ratio is very high here and I can let my KK go.

I think we can eliminate AA-QQ he plays 23/16 he will raise preflop for sure with these hands. And i also dont like to put 34s there.

And KK is not behind vs the remaining range.

I gotta be honest, I have no idea what a 25/16/2 player is calling with in the SB. I don’t have a calling range in this spot. I suppose 43s is a bit of a stretch, but who knows. He still has a big gap between PFR and VPIP so he is a bit on the loose/passive side and 2% 3bet yikes. I have to assume he is calling most, if not all pairs QQ and under looking to set mine. Sooooted aces perhaps, AQs maybe. These are the type of guys who always seem to have it when they become aggressive, especially in MW pots.

Interesting is that I hear one can find a fold on the flop!

He plays fit or fold, you are vs 2 pairs or a set here almost all the time.

Now, the first and most common mistake is preflop, where many players decide to play tricky and just call and in this way invite more people in the pot from behind. The more people in the pot, the more your hand loses its strength.
The second point is the villain's check/raise vs 2 on the flop. He has 55,66,QQ, 65s in his range, that can be played like this. As he is not squeeze happy, he can even have Q6s, Q5s too. He has combo draws too, as he can call a wide range of SCs preflop.
The xr vs 2 players means that he has more 2P+ hands than draws.
