Hey guys,
I´m an MTT (and SnG) player. I´m playing on Stars and PartyPoker. A couple of weeks ago, Party started to cancel more and more of the low-buy-in MTTs. I´m playing everything up to 3.30 $ limits. First, Party stopped offering the "Flyweight"-MTT-series (0.2-2.20$), then they took away the 1.10$ and 2.20 $ PLO-tourneys and now they offer only every 2nd and 3rd hour tourneys for 2.20 $ or 1.10 $ but with about 2,5 - 3 hours late reg!!

When I think about reasons to stay on Party not a single one comes to my mind. Besides, SnG-traffic on Party decreased tremendously!

So, I already moved with half of my BR to Pokerstars but I´m not tracked there. That´s why I´m looking for another good poker room for SnG- and MTT players in order to get Strategy Points.

On which rooms do the MTT-players here grind? Which rooms are good for MTT (and SnG)? Are there any? Or do I have to move my whole BR to Stars?

Please help me!! _cry:

Hey Prim,

I'll give you my opinions, although I haven't had access to most poker rooms for several months due to legislation change in Australia. I am also old and decrepit and my memory only works part time. :f_mad::f_frown:

Starting with SnGs, Stars is by far the best with 888 a distant second. I rarely played SnGs at party because of low traffic and that wa before SnG HERO which would also suck traffic away. iPoker used to have good SnG traffic before the 2014 client upgrade but lost significant traffic due to ongoing software issues and hasn't recovered, even though the software is now stable.

MPN has an occasional tourney series but MTT fields are small and there isn't enough of them.

Tigergaming (I can still play there. Yay:appl:) is mostly cash game traffic. There is a nice stretch of $2.20 R & As (every 30 minutes) on Sunday mornings between 8:30-midday (Saturday 21:30-01:00), but they don't have synchronised breaks. :why:

I've never played on Unibet, although I always hear good reports about how well they are going. They are currently holding a tourney series.

I considered party and 888 to be equal 2nd to Stars 12 months ago. 888 has a pretty good MTT schedule. Plenty of options with heaps of good value freerolls, team MTTS and my favourite, the Goldfish ( a $1 daily tournament that runs as a regular speed with$1k GTD, a turbo with $600 GTD and a superturbo with $400 GTD :f_love:)

Hope this helps

Laz

Hey Laz,
thank you very much and this

I rarely played SnGs at party because of low traffic and that wa before SnG HERO which would also suck traffic away. iPoker used to have good SnG traffic before the 2014 client upgrade but lost significant traffic due to ongoing software issues and hasn't recovered,

is exactly my experience. On Party there is very low SnG traffic and gets even worse and worse :f_cry:, played on iPoker before (Everest Poker), the SnGs were great and full of fishes :f_ugly: but then the software issues started and got worse and worse and worse. The client crashed about 2x per session and traffic at SnGs extremely decreased. :f_cry: Party had AWESOME MTTs but now they changed the schedules and structures. They destroyed and mutilated my favourite MTTs and I´m really searching for a reason to stay on Party and cannot find one. My favourite MTTs: gone! SnGs: low traffic. Only the DONs still have good traffic but stay on Party because of the DONs?

Already moved with half of my BR to Stars. And the other half................?????

I play at Stars, Unibet, Ladbrokes and MPN and for the stakes you mention (0,22 - 2.20) I would recommend unibet.

It has some advantages:
- Many low buyin events
- Low rake for reentry and rebuy MTTs
- No rake for nano events (buyin below €1)
- Weak players
- Pays only 12.5% of the field instead of stars 20%

Some disadvantages as well:
- Slightly higher rake then stars on freezeouts and pkos
- Small field sizes (20 to 300 runners per mtt, which I actually prefer but many see it as a disadvantage)
- No hud, no tracking (this one is the biggest disadvantage imo)
- Structures are faster then other sites

Thanks, Tim. Unibet is a room to look closer at FOR SURE! Important is enough MTTs and maybe a bit better traffic at STTs.
