Hi Guys,

About villan I have 84 hands. 26/20. Cbet 17% according 6 hands. He seem to be a regular with TAG/LAG game.

Flop: As we were 220bb deep and I had str and flush draw I decided to start building the pot. As his cbet statistic is very low I suppose he have at least top pair or draws. I got a call, so thought it will be some kind of draw. Better flush draw (Axs), str draw (J8,JQ) or sometimes slowplayed TT,99, 33, but with those in most times he would 3bet.

Turn: I vbet my straight. And here is the tricky part. I got so big rr at turn that I could not imagine anything else than KQ. Bigger then 4x rr and we are deep. Actually I was thinking about fold, but in the other hand I also had fd, so I could not fold.

What do you think what is the good game in this sitation?

Based on his nickname you was playing against a Dutch speaking player.
If you have info he isn’t cbetting often you can also consider to bet in to 2 players, because he will almost always check behind. Especially weak draws he should check behind.

As played the turn is rather interesting. Not sure why he would call a check raise with KQ. He has only 3 clean outs for a straight and you represent a strong hand like a set or at least a strong flush draw.
That makes it tough for me to fold and he could have some sets in his range as well and I would go broke here.

River changes nothing and I would call here as well. Otherwise you shouldn’t call the turn in the first place.

Cheers,

We should always be very cautious when we hold "the idiot" end of the straight.
