I am not sure if I should bet the flop here in a 3b pot.

After all, I decided to make a small bet on both flop and turn, since I could still easily shove river.

I happened to get called twice, but that might have been due to the lucky circumstance that my opponent actually had a hand like QQ or such. Do you think a flop check could make me more money in this spot? And if so, how would you size a turn bet?

I would expect BTN range to be AA, TT+ (to set mine). I think some SC like T9s would be nice call pre (given we are deep), but probably not happening at nl5. OTF from the first glance I would x all day long. What is our range here? I would say KK+ exlusively (every once in a while AKs I guess). We create too much of FE imo to bet here. If we were to bet, I´d do like 1/5th of the pot but I lean more towards x. Also we protect our x range. Imagine we had AA there, opp has bunch of AK, we don´t really wanna our cbet to be raised, so we want to x and reevaluate the situation OTT. I would play quads extremely passively in this spot, as there is simply nothing to get value from. I think R b is waay too big, I would go again for 1/5th or so. We even block the diamond so our opp is not likely to have flush, which he´d call (even though he has AdKd only in his range, which is one comb). If u bet 2/3 OTR, there is nothing that´ll call you down - I think he should fold everything by the turn, but I could imagine he is not giving up on his AA.
