This hand won me a huge pot, but I cant help and think, that I actually didnt play it well and only had the luck do be against somebody who turned out to be quiet insane.

After his donkbet I went (practically) all-in, which in hindsight, seems pretty stupid to me, but I am also still uncertain, what would have been the correct play:
After him raising from UTG and calling my raise preflop, I put him on a range like JJ-TT, AJ-AT, KT+, QT+, JT
Now he bets, which he might only do if he hit top pair or the set of Jacks.
Everything in the range he could ascribe to me (maybe AA-JJ, AK-AJ), which I wouldn't fold (AA-JJ, AJ), seems to dominate him, unless he hit the set of Jacks, then he would dominate me. So if I dont fold here, he might already know, which of the two cases it is.
In consequence any kind of raise from my side doesnt seem profitable at all, as he could simply fold if he doesnt hold JJ.
So I think that calling would be the right option as I would win the same amount in the case that I dominate and I would lose less, for the case, that he dominates me with JJ.
Any better ideas?
As I am still quiet new to the game, I would also be happy about any general advice.
