I should x-raise flop to protect my hand from any draw. As played on turn i don't have any reason to bet out so x-calling it's probably the best choice because he would raise some Ax preflop but it's strange his bet. On the river he decided to bet 1/2 pot, it could mean a value bet especially from a passive player so should i call or fold?

Cumps ;)

Hello,

Against a wide range, I would 3bet preflop with an intention to put more money into the pot and get the hand aggression, instead of just call.
As played I think to check raise is the best option at all! Not only to protect but as you have TP and backdoor flush I supposed you were ahead in this moment.
With 2 Aces on board, there were only 78 combos of Ax which results in just 15% of the villain entire range. Otherwise, he would probably increase sizes on a turn!
Suited hearts there were 63 combos back.
Based on this I supposed you were dead in hand and fold in this cheap hand would be the best option.

Hi,

First of all definitely a raise preflop. For once because u have a strong hand and secondly to get a better idea about his range otherwise u gonna play a guessing game against any 2.

Now this:

I dissagree. Check raise is an option but I prefere to lead here on a drawish board like this about 2/3 of the pot. Donk betting leads to safer and smaller pots than xr which is importat when playing from the BB . Keeps the pot more manageable OOP gives you more control and u wont let him drawing for free in case if he decides to xb at any moment to see the next street. With xr you building a big pot Out Of Position with only TP wich with a sticky player can get you into very difficult spots with a blown pot. We should make money IP control our losses OOP.

As played: xc xc is basically letting him control the game and completing his draws for free or as cheap as possible. As mention before I prefere to lead here and get value from his draws and weaker pairs. Now this line min bet min bet and 1/2pot or 3/4 pot from my experience is usually a VB and I would probably fold here. The only thing is that I dont like to fold 2ndPGK on a paired board like this. So tough fold but probably a fold.

The SB is a loose passive fish that almost never raised pre-flop or he changed his game HU.
3betting pre-flop looks to optimistic against a tight raising range. I think calling is fine on a min raise of him.

The flop you could consider to lead, but check/raising on a min bet for value isn’t to bad ether. I doubt he would bet a K like this and if he would 3bet/shove or something I would go for it

The rest of the hand seems standard, but it’s a little bit suspicious he’s betting more on the river when the flush came.

Cheers,

Ok. I think I might have misjudged this hand a little bit. I agree with SDK1987 on the calling preflop part. Its absolutely fine to call there .

On the rest I stay firmly with the lead.
Good luck.
