It's the first hand of the tournament so i didn't had any information. I think i cannot change anything on flop and turn, but on the river it's strange why he bets out but i already invest almost half of my stack so i have to call or i can find a fold here?

Cumps ;)

Hero calls most of the time.

Let's suppose a blind defense range of: 22-JJ as flat call, AJ-AQ, KJ-KQ . I know you didn't have any reading about it.
On this flop texture which cards he'll play in check/call: 22, 66, 88, 99 and JJ and might call 1 barrel with AJ and AQ on this board. - Hands with a good equity! No backdoor flush will call here and call 2nd barreling.
The turn card was blanked on him and check/call kept just 22, 66, 88, 99 and JJ in his range.
He had the second best hand here 80% of times - QQ he would 3bet pre-flop / suited cards like AK or AJ, AQ will not support 3 barrels.

Tell us what happened

Weird shove for sure. The only hands you lose against are flushes and QQ. I don’t think he would call to often with backdoor flush draw 2 streets and QQ isn’t to likely ether and I would go for the call as well.

I call because it doesn't make much sense and i have a strong hand, he could have some two pairs and i already invest a big part of my stack.... But he had 9h7h, i don't know if i could change anything, i can put a note but it's difficult to do it another way

I wish you didnt give results. I was just going to reply to you about this one.

Anyways. It makes perfect sense for me. I don't know how the other guys don't see a 97 there (standard call in HU) and that line is nearly always some very strong hand or nuts. I fold this unless I have some strong reads he can bluff me this way.

A note is always good but there is nothin unusual ab this. There are 2 draws completed on this board and a very strong play (line). 79 might be a loose call in 6max I don't know, but look at the board and his play. Considering u playing micros backdoor flush is possible aswell and not that uncommon.

@Arnaslan I'm not trying to attack u or anything like that, but ur preflop range is so nit. Would you actually flat call pre with jj? Im 3betting here 77+

Hey, no problem at all, we are here to discuss and learn with each other and understand how others see the game as well.
In early game STT, mainly, because of the "bias against confrontation" I wait for an opportunity with decent starting hand to play. Certainty without reads I flat call JJ in this situation.

Reviewing my commentary: makes sense BB calls wide because he had 4,5 to 1 pot odds. And even do with an open-ended straight draw he had the correct odds for a call on the flop, but, unfortunately, the "T" gave to our friend a set with high reverse implied odds.
Even, I keep calling in this spot included against a flush draw, because, Mayb3n0T has 11 outs for a nuts in this spot and a pretty decent value hand!

the hand is well played.
Only comment is that I charge more preflop the villains that have a 50-70+ VPIP as I want to charge their curiosity.
In the games though I believe I have an edge I kind of slow down when there are so many draws that are completed and especially a 60% VPIP villain.

I have a healthy stack, it's early, it's drawy heavy and I'm sure I will have better spots later on. Exchange hand EV for tournament EV in a way.
